(Delaware and Chester Counties, PA)鈥擨nterested in exploring the art of cooking? 大发六合彩鈥檚 new Culinary Arts Certificate program is open for fall enrollment until Wednesday, August 22, 2012. Learn everything you need to know about professional cooking and baking in a hands-on environment at our new Brandywine Campus (443 Boot Road, Downingtown).
With a state-of-the-art kitchen at your fingertips, you鈥檒l have the tools and ingredients you鈥檒l need to become a certified culinary artisan. Enjoy a comprehensive curriculum that includes an optional intern- or externship that will help prepare you for a career in this fast-paced, high-energy field. After completing the certificate, you can transfer into a bachelor鈥檚 degree program or pursue a range of careers in baking, cooking, management and more.
鈥淎ccording to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, demand for Food Preparation is projected to increase 10 percent through 2020. Further, Food Preparation and Serving workers are listed as a Career in Demand in the Regional High Priority Occupation list for Delaware County. Our certificate program is designed to help students enter this growing field,鈥 says Dr. Eric Wellington, Dean of Business and Computer Information Systems. 聽
The program is flexible with day and evening courses available. Choose the session that fits your schedule:
- Mondays through Thursdays, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Mondays through Thursdays, 6 to 10 p.m.
