New SEPTA Transit Route
(MEDIA, PA) Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) held a public hearing at 大发六合彩 on Friday, June 10 to address proposed changes to the 112 and 115 bus routes. The new and improved schedule began on August 29, which coincided perfectly with the start of the fall semester.
The changes to the existing Route 112 and 115 bus transits will provide a more direct route from 69th Street Terminal to the College.
Students and employees comprise 45 percent of the ridership. The new 112 route would operate between 69th Street Terminal and the College via West Chester Pike. The changes simplify the present schedules, and offer faster service to the College. During the academic year, the 112 will聽arrive on campus every thirty minutes beginning at 6:44 AM. Buses will leave campus hourly between 5:40 and 8:40 PM and then again at 10:10 PM.聽There will be an additional five trips arriving and departing from the campus on Saturdays. The new schedule is now available at .
The most significant change is the addition of the 115 bus between Southeast Center and Marple Campus. The new route now terminates at the College via Darby Road, Manoa Road, West Chester Pike and Media Line Road. This offers a one-seat ride to the Marple Campus from Eastern Delaware County cutting the time in half between locations.
Previously, students at the Southeast Center had to take three buses to the Marple Campus with an average travel time of two hours. The revised route provides a connection between Marple Campus and Southeast Center, opening up additional scheduling options for students and giving them the opportunity to participate more actively in College programs.
There are now 15 stops in and out between the two campuses, Monday through Friday including evening service with the last bus leaving Marple at 10:15 PM.聽For more information, please call 610-359-7157 or email Campus Life.
