Temple University Dual Admission & Gen Ed-to-Gen Ed Agreement
Benefits of the Dual Admissions agreement include:
- Guaranteed Admissions to Temple University. This agreement applies to all Temple听majors except for the following competitive majors (art, architecture, music, dance,听pharmacy, nursing, and health information management), which have additional听admission requirements. See for a full listing of majors.
- Waiving the admission application fee.
- Academic Scholarships:
Full-time:
- $1,000 academic scholarship to students with final 3.30-3.64 GPA;
- $2,000 academic scholarship to students with final 3.65-4.0 GPA;
Part-time*:
- $500 academic scholarship to students with final 3.30-3.64 GPA and
- $1,000 academic scholarship to students with final 3.65-4.0 GPA;
*registered with 6-11 Temple credits per semester
All scholarships may be renewed for up to three years with a 3.0 Temple cumulative GPA.
To qualify for the Dual Admissions, students must:
- Graduate with an Associate听in Arts (A.A) or Associate听in Science (A.S.), with a听minimum GPA of 2.3.
- This agreement applies to all Temple majors except for the following competitive majors听(art, architecture, music, dance, pharmacy, nursing, and health information management),听which have additional admission requirements. See for a full listing of听majors.
- Complete a 鈥淒ual Admissions Intent to Enroll鈥 form at the time of admissions to DCCC,听or before completion of 30 or fewer graded college-level credits (including any credits听completed at previous institutions). Students can complete this form when meeting with听a Transfer Advisor. Students who have previously been matriculated to Temple听University are not eligible to participate in the Dual Admissions agreement.
- In the semester before you are planning to begin attending Temple University, you must听complete Temple鈥檚 online application. There will be an option in the online application听for you to indicate that you are a Dual Admissions student; this will waive your听application fee. The deadline for Fall admission is June 1st and for Spring admission the听deadline is November 1st. Note that special programs may have separate deadlines for admission.
- Enroll at Temple within one year of graduation, and do not attend another institution of听higher education between the time they graduate from 大发六合彩and enroll at Temple.
- Request official transcripts from all colleges you have attended, as well as from your听high school.
- To be considered for Dual Admissions and the scholarship, a final transcript reflecting听degree earned and final Grade Point Average must be sent from 大发六合彩to the听Coordinator for Dual Admissions at Temple University. Students must complete the听application for graduation at Enrollment Central in Founders Hall at DCCC.
- Satisfy all other regular Temple admissions requirements.

DUAL ADMISSIONS AGREEMENT between

This addendum concerns the Dual Admissions agreement between 大发六合彩 (DCCC) and Temple University (Temple) signed March 16, 1998.
Earlier versions of this agreement include the following statement regarding eligibility criteria for the Dual Admissions program:听"If you are newly admitted to an associate's degree program or have earned 30 or fewer college-level credits."听Beginning fall 2016, language has been added to clarify eligibility听requirements for student applying to the Dual Admissions program.听Students must intend to complete an associate's degree at their institution and must complete the Intent to Enroll form before completing 30 graded college credits.听This includes any prior credits completed at other colleges or universities.听The statement regarding eligibility now reads:
If you are newly admitted to an associate degree program or have completed 30 or fewer graded college-level credits (including any credits completed at previous institutions) you are eligible to complete an INTENT TO ENROLL form available in the Transfer Office.
Additionally, information was added to the agreement regarding Temple's admissions process for Dual Admissions students.听The electronic admissions application for transfer students now asks students to confirm that they have previously been approved for admission through the Dual Admissions program.听Students who select this option will have their application fee waived.听Step 3 on page 2 now states:

GEN ED - TO - GEN ED TRANSFER AGREEMENT between

大发六合彩 (DCCC) and Temple University (Temple) enter into this agreement in order to facilitate the transfer of students from 大发六合彩into Temple, and to support their academic success in baccalaureate degree programs.
This addendum concerns the GenEd to GenEd Agreement between 大发六合彩and Temple signed August 18, 2010.听After the signing of that agreement 大发六合彩has either added or revised the curriculum for several of the degree programs.
As a result, students who first enroll at Temple for or after Fall 2018 semester, having received an A.A. or A.S. degree in one of the following programs at DCC in or after 1970 will be eligible for the GenEd to GenEd program.

Transfer students should be aware that GenEd-to-GeEd and Core-to-Core transfer relates only to University General Education requirements.听All requirements of Temple's schools and colleges and major programs of study remain in force.
Given the mutual consent of 大发六合彩and Temple, the programs listed above have been added to the list of eligible degrees.听Only students who have completed the degrees as revised or offered beginning Fall 2016 will be eligible for the GenEd-to-GenEd Program.
Students following this agreement who complete their community college degree in two-years will be eligible for following the Temple curriculum in place at the time they started at the community college. Students taking longer than two years to complete their community college degree will follow the curriculum in place at the time of their admissions to Temple.
GEN ED-TO-GEN ED TRANSFER AGREEMENT

2010
大发六合彩 (DCCC) and Temple University (Temple) enter into this agreement in order to facilitate the transfer of students from 大发六合彩into Temple, and to support their academic success in baccalaureate degree programs.
This agreement applies to students who first enroll at Temple for or after the fall 2010 semester, having received an associate degree in one of the following programs at 大发六合彩in or after 1970.
- an Associate in Arts (A.A.) in Communication Arts, Education or Liberal Arts.
- an Associate in Science (A.S.) in Behavioral Science, Business Administration, Computer Information Systems (as revised in 2000), Engineering (as revised in Fall 2007), Human Service, or Natural Science.
- an Associate in Science (A.S.) in Science for Health Professions, if and only if the student is certified to Temple's Assistant Vice Provost for Transfer by DCCC's Transfer Office as having taken a minimum of five courses in the humanities and/or social sciences.
For those students, Temple agrees to accept the general education embedded in the 大发六合彩degrees as meeting all the requirements of its undergraduate University General Education Curriculum (Gen Ed).
Other 大发六合彩degrees that incorporate the same requirements may be added tot his agreement in the future, after the review and approval each institution considers appropriate, and by mutual consent.
Eligible 大发六合彩graduates enrolling at Temple will be identified upon admission to Temple.听Satisfaction of Temple's Gen Ed requirements pursuant to this agreement will be noted on all pertinent student records.听Gen Ed-to-Gen Ed transfer does not alter the requirements of the student's major field of study or the requirements of the student's Temple school or college.听Students under the terms of this agreement will need to complete two Writing-Intensive courses at Temple.听These courses will be specific requirements determined by the student's major.
The willingness of both institutions to enter this agreement in order to facilitate the transfer of students from 大发六合彩 into Temple University, and to expand their opportunities for academic success there, is indicated by the following signature:
