"I graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2010 with an Associate of Applied Science in Paralegal Studies. As a result, I was invited to join Phi Theta Kappa, the international honor society for two-year college students.鈥
Did you pursue further academic goals?
"I am not taking more classes at this time but did pass a state exam to become a notary public. What are your future plans?
'Volunteering with the Chester County Courthouse for the Guardianship Program is my other main focus in addition to my career. I get a sense of pride in meeting the clients assigned to me so I can let the court know of their status. My visits are a help to a local judge who said recently 鈥業 sleep better at night knowing you are the eyes and ears for us.鈥 This was a nice compliment for a sometimes difficult assignment.鈥
What advice would you give to current students and Alumni to make the most of the education they received from the College?
Attending the College while still working full time was a challenge but also a dream come true for me as I wanted to graduate with honors in a very worthwhile field, the law. The many fine instructors, staff, guidance counselors and other students who became mentors and friends were helpful in achieving my goals and finally receiving my degree.鈥
