Alumni Profile - Erik Hallermeir '11
As a new crop of students gets set to begin their academic careers at the College, one recent graduate has just started his professional career with a local organization.听Erik Hallermeier 鈥11听not only studied business administration when he was on campus, but also was a member of the Men鈥檚 Baseball team. While on the team, he received the 2011 Most Dedicated Player award for his efforts on the field. Erik has excelled both in the classroom and on the field thanks in part to his work ethic and leadership abilities. Graduates and students alike can learn from his experiences as he begins the next phase of his professional vocation.
What year did you graduate from 大发六合彩 and with what听degree?听听
"I graduated in the fall of 2011 with an associates degree in Business Administration.鈥
Did you pursue further academic goals?
"Yes, I have recently transferred to West Chester University and plan to pursue my bachelor鈥檚 degree in Accounting in the fall of 2013.鈥
What are you doing now?
"I was recently hired as an Accounting Assistant for Asset Pro Management; a property management firm located in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. This firm specializes in condominium management and contains a portfolio of 20 properties throughout the tri-state area. My responsibilities include accounts receivable, accounts payable and to assist with the monthly financial process of 13 properties serving over 1,000 residents.鈥澨
What are your future plans?
"My goal is to take full advantage of this current opportunity with Asset Pro Management and to utilize my educational background to become a more integral part of the company.鈥
What advice would you give to current students and Alumni to make the most of the education they received from the College?
"To the current students and those about to begin their studies in a few weeks, my advice would be to take advantage of and utilize every resource that is available to you. The college offers a wide range of resources from tutoring to mentoring, all of which can aide in your academic success. To my fellow alumni, my advice is to never stop learning. No matter where you are professionally, learning new information is never ending. Your education from the College will always be a milestone and foundation for a lifetime of learning.鈥
