大发六合彩 Announces New Coaches for Men鈥檚 and Women鈥檚 Basketball and Cross Country
(Delaware and Chester Counties, PA - May 1)鈥敶蠓⒘喜 has announced new coaches for its Phantoms men鈥檚 basketball, women鈥檚 basketball and cross country programs.聽
Delaware County native Dwayne Saunders has been appointed head coach of men鈥檚 basketball, returning to a role he held from 2010-2013, when he posted a 55-22 overall win-loss record. Named Eastern Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference (EPCC) Coach of the Year in 2011, he led the team to a 24-2 mark and the College鈥檚 first EPCC title since 1996. He returned to the College last fall as the assistant director of athletics after a five-year stint at Elizabeth City State University, where he was director of recreation and wellness and coached men鈥檚 basketball for three seasons. A native of Chester, Pa., Saunders holds a bachelor鈥檚 degree in Psychology from Lock Haven University and a master鈥檚 degree in Sport Management from East Stroudsburg University.
Also a Delaware County native, Larry Fain Jr. has been named head coach of women鈥檚 basketball. Fain played for Chester High School under the leadership of legendary Coach Fred Pickett. As a high school student-athlete, Fain earned First Team All-Delaware County honors. He continued his basketball career at Cheyney University and later at Franklin & Marshall College under the guidance of Glenn Robinson, the most victorious men鈥檚 basketball coach in NCAA Division III history. Fain holds a bachelor鈥檚 degree in Business Management from Franklin & Marshall College and a Master of Business Administration from Eastern University.聽
Cara Fordenbacher will coach men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 cross country. She currently serves as the College鈥檚 coordinator of athletics and campus engagement as well as assistant coach of Track and Field. As a college-athlete at Eastern University, Fordenbacher competed for four years on the cross country and track and field teams. She was a member of the 2020 Eastern University Women鈥檚 Indoor Track and Field Middle Atlantic Conference Championship team. She earned a bachelor鈥檚 degree in Psychology from Eastern University and a master鈥檚 degree in Higher Education Policy and Student Affairs from West Chester University.聽
