´ó·¢ÁùºÏ²Ê Students Earn Transfer Scholarships to Four-Year Universities
(Delaware and Chester Counties, Pa. - September 15, 2023)—Two Delaware County students were recently awarded merit-based transfer scholarships and will attend Neumann University and West Chester University, respectively.Ìý
Tadiwanashe Antony Tuwacha of Parkesburg was awarded the Neumann University Transfer Partnership Full-Tuition Scholarship. He graduated in May 2023 with an associate degree in Business Administration. He begins studies this fall in Computer Information Systems at Neumann. While at ´ó·¢ÁùºÏ²Ê Antony served as a student ambassador and student mentor as well as president of the Business Society. He was selected to represent the College at the 2022 Presidents’ Round Table Men of Color Student Leadership Institute held in Pittsburgh, Pa. He was a member of the College’s Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.
L. Patrick Weishew of Broomall received the TAAC Hailey King Memorial Scholarship and will attend West Chester University, where he plans to major in History with Social Studies Teacher Certification. He graduated in May 2023 with an associate degree in History and was awarded the Langford A. Wilson History Award for academic excellence. He was also a member of the College’s Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. Patrick is a 2021 graduate of Marple Newtown High School.Ìý
