Classical Music for Voice and Piano Presented by the Performing Arts Department
(Media, PA) 聽The Performing Arts Center at 大发六合彩 is pleased to present an afternoon concert of classical voice and piano on October 31, at 3 p.m. (doors open at 2 p.m.) at the Marple Campus in the Academic Building (large auditorium). Tickets are free.
The concert will introduce critically acclaimed vocalists Disella Larusdottir, soprano and Jonathan Beyer, baritone. They will be accompanied by pianist Spencer Myer. All three artists are from Astral Artists, a Philadelphia-based nonprofit classical music organization whose mission is to discover the most promising classical musicians, assist in their early professional career development and present their world-class artistry to the community through concerts and outreach programs.
The program will feature art song (vocal music composition, usually written for one voice with piano or orchestral accompaniment) and opera excerpts from the Classical, Romantic and the early 20th Century periods that will include works by Mozart, Donizeti, Bellini, Sibelius, Brahms, Rachmaninoff and Massenet.
