Free GED Classes Offered by 大发六合彩 at J. Lewis Crozer Library
(Delaware County, PA - February 24, 2011) In these difficult economic times, and amidst drastic cuts in funding, 大发六合彩 has partnered with the J. Lewis Crozer Library to offer free General Educational Development (GED) classes to residents in Delaware County.
Classes will be held at J. Lewis Crozer Library (620 Engle Street, Chester, PA) on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. 鈥 1:00 p.m. beginning on March 22 through May 19.
The program is open to residents 18 years and older who have not gone through the traditional primary and secondary education process. The GED classes will cover Social Studies, Science, Literature, Writing and Math.
Pre-registration is required. Forms may be obtained at the J. Lewis Crozer Library, as well as at the Marple Campus, 901 S. Media Line Road, Media, PA and Southeast Center, 2000 Elmwood Avenue, Sharon Hill.聽聽
聽鈥淥ur GED program goal is to create a direct channel between students who complete the GED test and higher education,鈥 explains Karen Kozachyn, Associate Dean of Community and Corporate Education.聽鈥淭he faculty and staff support students by connecting them with peer mentors and career counselors in hopes that they would continue their education at the College.鈥
This program, funded by a federal grant issued by the PA Department of Education and the Bureau of Adult Basic Literacy Education, enables residents to a brighter future by completing their education.聽聽聽
