Carlotta Daniels-Randolph and Husband Receive Ducky Birts Foundation Medallion Award
(Delaware and Chester Counties, PA, April 24, 2012)鈥The Ducky Birts Foundation Medallion Award was presented to Irving and Carlotta Randolph at the Sixth Annual Medallion Scholarship Banquet held in Philadelphia on April 21, 2012. Carlotta Daniels-Randolph is the Managing Director of the Workforce Employment Services for 大发六合彩 and a member of the Advisory Board to the Delaware County Housing Authority Self- Sufficiency program. 聽
Irving Randolph, an award winning journalist, was recognized for his leadership as managing editor of The Philadelphia Tribune, the nation鈥檚 oldest continuously published African-American newspaper. Honored as a couple for their extraordinary leadership and commitment to the development and education of Philadelphia鈥檚 youth, they also received citations from Philadelphia Mayor Michael A. Nutter, City of Philadelphia City Council, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania鈥檚 Senate, House of Representatives and Pennsylvania Legislative Black Caucus. 聽聽
The Ducky Birts Foundation supports students entering historically African-American higher education institutions. It was founded by Donald 鈥淒ucky鈥 Birts, a community leader, businessman, youth advocate and committee person for Philadelphia鈥檚 50th Ward, Second Division, and special assistant to U. S. Congressman Robert A. Brady.
