New Music Concert Series Begins April 15
Performances Are Free and Open to the Public
(Delaware and Chester Counties, PA)鈥擳he spring 2012 season of 大发六合彩鈥檚 New Music Concert Series kicks off Sunday, April 15, 2012, and features three renowned musicians. All shows will be held in the Large Auditorium of the Academic Building at the Marple Campus (901 S. Media Line Road, Media, PA). Performances are free and open to the public.
Each semester, 大发六合彩 students and residents of Delaware and Chester Counties enjoy concerts from some of the world鈥檚 top musicians right in their backyard. The New Music Concert Series highlights the expansive musical experience available in the 21st century, presenting virtuosic musicians from around the globe. Don鈥檛 miss these incredible opportunities to explore music in ways you鈥檝e never heard before:
- Sunday, April 15, 3 p.m.鈥擠uet featuring baritone Jonathan Hays and pianist Jeremy Gill: Hays is renowned as an interpreter of contemporary music and exhibits extraordinary breadth of vocal flexibility and interpretive expression.聽 Gill is also a conductor and composer, and his activities cover a remarkably broad range of musical styles and types.
- Sunday, April 29, 3 p.m.鈥擮boist Jennet Ingle: Noted for her 鈥渆xtraordinary artistry and virtuosity鈥 (Illinois Times) and 鈥渋ntimacy and spirit of fun鈥 (State Journal-Register), Ingle is a generous performer and passionate advocate for classical music. She is a Principal Oboist of the South Bend Symphony and the Northwest Indiana Symphony and teaches oboe at Valparaiso University and Notre Dame University.聽聽
