(Delaware and Chester Counties, PA)—´ó·¢ÁùºÏ²Ê’s New Music Concert Series presents Mendelssohn Club of Philadelphia, joined by the Philadelphia Master Chorale and the African Episcopal Church of St. Thomas Chancel Choir, performing BIG SING//Schubert.  This performance was rescheduled from November and will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2013, at 6 p.m. in the College’s Large Auditorium in the Academic Building on the Marple Campus (901 S. Media Line Road, Media, PA).
Witness the transformational power of music connecting communities as Mendelssohn Club of Philadelphia welcomes the Philadelphia Master Chorale (led by Changho Lee) and the African Episcopal Church of St. Thomas Chancel Choir (led by Dr. Jay Fluellen) in the 3rd annual BIG SING. Explore the music of the Korean and African Episcopal traditions and join with hundreds of local singers to perform Schubert’s Mass in G. Whether you come to sing or just to listen, this multicultural experience is perfect for an excursion with colleagues or the whole family.

The College’s New Music Series brings some of the world’s top musicians closer to home for residents of Delaware and Chester Counties. The series highlights the expansive musical experience available in the 21st century, presenting virtuosic and cutting-edge musicians from around the globe. The recently renovated Large Auditorium serves as the venue and boasts an enlarged stage, luxury seating, theatrical lighting, a surround sound system and all-new décor.
