(Delaware and Chester Counties, PA)鈥擲pend your summer seeking personal enlightenment or enrichment by taking one of 大发六合彩鈥檚 non-credit courses. A wide variety of courses will be offered at the College鈥檚 Marple Campus (901 S. Media Line Road, Media, PA) from May to mid-August.
Find out what it takes to prepare a successful proposal for funding, and learn the requirements of private foundations, public agencies and other funding sources in Grant Writing and Research (5/30), or explore legal issues, market research, management, accounting, insurance and site selection in How to Start a Small Business (5/22).
Launch a career in Life Coaching (5/23), helping others discover their strengths, set goals and achieve them. Or consider the field of bartending and learn recipes, preparation of drinks and bar setups for restaurant, home and catering applications in Introduction to Mixology (7/9). And whether you鈥檙e a seminar, conference, retreat, fundraiser or personal-event coordinator, Event Planning (5/29) will show you how to organize and pull it off without a hitch!
Learn a new language in a stimulating environment in Spanish (5/29) or Italian (6/4) with beginning courses introducing the basics of pronunciation, sentence structure and vocabulary, or build skills in performing a manual alphabet to communicate with hearing-impaired children and adults in Sign Language for Beginners (5/22).
Explore ways to make your fiction or non-fiction come alive in Creative Writing (5/22), or relax in a beginner dance class, mastering the foxtrot, waltz and tango in Smooth Ballroom or the rumba, salsa and cha cha in Latin Rhythm (both 5/29). Or the Basics of Organic Gardening (6/7) may be more to your liking as you learn to understand the ecosystem, site a garden, plant seeds, transplant seedlings, mulch, compost, identify and control pests, and apply chemical-free fertilizers.
If you鈥檝e dreamed of making music, consider joining Beginning Piano (5/21) for group instruction in our electronic piano lab. In Musical Theater鈥擟abaret (5/23) you will learn to select an appropriate singing repertoire from Pop, Broadway and/or Classical songs and develop skills to enrich your performance technique.
Courses to enhance your health and well-being include T鈥檃i Chi (6/13), Pilates for Beginners (5/24), Zumba (5/22), Hatha Yoga (5/24) and Experiencing Meditation (6/5). In addition, Nurturing the Spirit Within (5/22) is an exploration of one鈥檚 inner self that incorporates Chakras, Reiki, Spirit Painting, Palmistry, Crystal Energy, Dreams and Feng Shui.聽聽
