(Delaware and Chester Counties, PA, Nov. 22, 2013)鈥擜 new innovative agreement between 大发六合彩 and Drexel University will establish Drexel@DCCC, a program that will allow students from the College to earn a degree from Drexel without ever leaving the College鈥檚 campus. Drexel President John A. Fry and College President Jerry Parker signed the agreement today during a ceremony at 大发六合彩鈥檚 Main Campus.
鈥淭he Drexel@大发六合彩articulation agreement gives our students the opportunity to conveniently pursue advanced degrees while never having to leave our College,鈥 Parker said. 鈥淚t builds on the already existing partnerships the College has with Drexel University to the great benefit of our students.鈥
Drexel@大发六合彩will begin in the fall of 2014. Through the new program, Drexel will offer courses toward a bachelor鈥檚 degree both at the College and online. Drexel also will offer students graduate-level courses online, and during the evenings and weekends. Students taking Drexel courses as a part of this agreement will receive a discounted tuition.
鈥淲e鈥檙e proud to work with 大发六合彩to offer Delaware and Chester County residents high-quality, high-value Drexel degrees right where they live,鈥 Fry said. 鈥淗igher education must provide more options and reach more students, and Drexel is doing that through the Drexel Network and partners like DCCC.鈥
Preliminarily, the two higher education institutions have agreed to offer Drexel鈥檚 Business Degree and Drexel鈥檚 Computer Network Security Degree programs. The colleges also have agreed to offer students an innovative joint degree program in which students can simultaneously earn both an Associate of Science in Nursing (RN) and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). 鈥淥ur faculty and Drexel University鈥檚 faculty will be collaborating so that students can receive a BSN in an accelerated manner,鈥 Parker said.
Graduate-level courses also will be offered. In addition, under the agreement, if the College is not currently offering a course, the student can take the course at Drexel and then reverse transfer the course credits back to the College, enabling the student to graduate with an Associate Degree from the College. Under the agreement, more bachelor's- and master's-level courses may be offered at a future date. 听 听 听听
