College's Educational Foundation Welcomes Two New Board Members

(Delaware and Chester Counties, PA)—´ó·¢ÁùºÏ²Ê’s Educational Foundation is proud to welcome two new members to the Board of Directors: Sloan Walker, CFA and Julie D. Sebastian.
Walker, a Certified Financial Analyst, has served as Executive Director at Morgan Stanley since 2003. Prior to that, he was a vice president at OppenheimerFunds and Moody’s Investors Service. He also served as senior counsel in the enforcement division of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Walker received a B.A. in history from Yale University and a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law. He resides in Radnor where he’s also on the Radnor Environmental Advisory Council.
Sebastian, a resident of Broomall, is a Social Marketing Coordinator at QVC in West Chester. She’s previously worked with Big Brothers Big Sisters and Harrisburg International Airport. A former softball captain, Sebastian volunteers with JS Pitching Lessons to provide instruction to beginner, intermediate and experienced softball players. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Communications with a minor in Psychology from Elizabethtown College.
Founded in 1980, the Educational Foundation’s mission is to provide financial resources for students, faculty, programs and facilities. The Foundation supports the College’s activities in the following ways: obtaining resources, financial and other; supporting creative ideas by identifying and sponsoring projects; building an endowment; expanding partnerships between the College and the community, especially business and industry; and communicating the College’s mission within the community.
The Foundation’s 30-member Board of Directors comprises a diverse and committed group of individuals who are prominent business and community leaders. They serve as strong advocates for the College within the community.
