Delaware Valley University to Offer Bachelor鈥檚 Degrees at 大发六合彩

(Delaware and Chester Counties, PA聽鈥� April 20, 2015)鈥擠elaware Valley University and 大发六合彩 signed an agreement today that will allow 大发六合彩 students to earn a DelVal bachelor鈥檚 degree without ever having to leave the community college鈥檚 campuses in Delaware or Chester Counties.
DelVal (formerly DelVal College) will begin offering courses this September at 大发六合彩鈥檚 Marple Campus and Exton Center. Bachelor鈥檚 degree programs to be offered include business administration, counseling psychology, criminal justice, and media and communications.
Student tuition for the DelVal Degree Completion program will be $425 per credit, a reduced partnership rate that is less than DelVal鈥檚 on-campus tuition. There are no additional fees.
To be eligible, students must have already earned an associate degree from 大发六合彩 and met the minimum grade point averages required for admission into DelVal鈥檚 specific baccalaureate program.
To further assist students with the cost of earning their bachelor鈥檚 degree, students will be able to take up to 12 additional credits at 大发六合彩 beyond those required for their associate degree at the community college tuition rate. Those courses can be applied to the total credits required for the DelVal bachelor鈥檚 degree.
This new on-site bachelor鈥檚 degree completion program expands on the Guaranteed Dual Admission and Core-to-Core Transfer agreements that both institutions signed in June 2014.

鈥淢any students who earn associate degrees want to also continue on to a bachelor鈥檚 degree but are often having to deal with personal and financial issues that prevent them from leaving their local area,鈥� continued Dr. Brosnan. 鈥淭his program eliminates both those barriers, will help students realize their dream of earning a bachelor鈥檚 degree, and ultimately will improve their quality of life.鈥�

鈥淲e deliberately took a cooperative approach in developing this partnership,鈥� said Art Goon, vice president for enrollment management at DelVal, which is located in Doylestown, PA.
鈥淲e listened to the concerns of the leaders and students at 大发六合彩 and jointly came up with an agreement that will provide for a seamless, convenient and affordable pathway for the College鈥檚 associate degree earners to attain a bachelor鈥檚 degree. This project also underscores DelVal鈥檚 continued effort to be the most transfer-friendly, four-year institution in the region.鈥�
