Complaint Process
All students are encouraged to review the student handbook to understand their rights, as well as College policies and procedures. To file a complaint, please visit the student complaints website. Students living out of state should attempt to resolve any academic issues or complaints with the College first. If after following the College's complaint procedures the issue cannot be resolved internally, you may file a complaint with the appropriate state agency.
Hybrid Courses
Hybrid courses have a reduced amount of classroom time, where teaching and learning occurs both in the classroom as well as online. Classroom attendance and online participation is mandatory. Examples of hybrid courses may be an evening course that meets for 3 hours a week on a Monday night every other week or a course that meets 1 hour a week in the classroom and the remaining 2 hours of that week are conducted online.
Succeeding In Online & Hybrid Courses
Successful online/hybrid learning students are typically self-motivated, active participants who are able to manage their study environments closely. Students need to remember that all online and hybrid learning courses have due dates for assignments, discussions, quizzes and exams, so you must adjust your study habits and preparation time to meet these deadlines.
