Artist Statement
My easel sized paintings and illustrations are made using acrylics or digital mediums and depict my characters of my own creation in settings intended to tell stories. The works I truly care about mix direct observation and an overwhelming amount of imagination. My inspirations include Disney and Ghibli films and other works that bring the viewer a sense of childlike wonder. I believe it is important to share your story, not only to entertain but to also show the way you preserve the world.
