37th Annual Elder Week Offers Food, Fun and Education at a Discount
(Delaware and Chester Counties, PA聽鈥� April 13, 2022)鈥敶蠓⒘喜� will hold its 37th Annual ElderWeek on May 17, 18 and 19, during which people age 55 and older can learn, have fun and fellowship in specially designed mini-classes on the College鈥檚 Marple Campus, 901 S. Media Line Road, Media, PA 19063.
鈥淲e are excited to once again host this wonderful event! There is literally something for everyone. Some of our most popular workshops include, 鈥楿nderstanding Social Media,鈥� 鈥榃atercolor,鈥� 鈥楳editation鈥� and 鈥楧elco Sports Legends,鈥欌�� said Tricia Scepansky, the College鈥檚 Director of Community Education.
Registration is $130 for all three days, or $115 for two days, which includes workshops, continental breakfast and lunches at the ElderWeek Caf茅. Most classes and activities will take place in the STEM Center, which is conveniently located next to the parking lots and easily accessible. Advance registration is required and limited. Classes and workshops are filled on a first-come, first-registered basis. The preferred form of registration and payment is by phone with a credit card at 610-359-5025. Registrations by mail should be postmarked no later than May 5. The College cannot guarantee class placement but will do its best to enroll registrants in the classes they most desire. Placement is based on rolling enrollment.
