Free Online Dialogues for Diversity Series Offers 'A Conversation with Heather McGhee' on January 31

On Tuesday, January 31 from 5 to 6:15 p.m. online via Zoom, 大发六合彩 presents 鈥淎 Conversation with Heather McGhee,鈥 the latest in the College鈥檚 free, online 鈥淒ialogues for Diversity鈥 series of discussions. Hosted by the College鈥檚 Center for Equity and Social Justice, the session will feature a discussion with McGhee followed by a Q & A session moderated by Simuelle Myers, chief diversity and inclusion officer at 大发六合彩, and Tracey Ray Robinson, PhD, chief diversity and inclusion officer at West Chester University.
The former president of the think tank Demos, McGhee has drafted legislation, testified before Congress, and become a regular contributor on news shows including NBC鈥檚 Meet the Press. Now the chair of Color of Change, the nation's largest online racial justice organization, McGhee holds a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from Yale University and a Juris Doctorate from the University of California at Berkeley School of Law.

The Center falls under the purview of the College鈥檚 Office for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. The Dialogues for Diversity series provides a safe space for courageous and respectful community discussions about race, ethnicity, prejudice, discrimination, social privilege and other sometimes difficult to discuss issues. Previous event topics have included, 鈥淒iscussing Race in Our Communities,鈥 with special guest New York Times bestselling author Austin Channing Brown. The session is available via Zoom.
