April 2 Lecture at 大发六合彩to Focus on 鈥淎utism and Success in the Classroom鈥
(Delaware and Chester Counties, PA - March 29, 2024)鈥擡rin Clemens, a 2019 graduate of 大发六合彩, is a shining example of resilience and advocacy in the realm of autism awareness and disability rights.听
Drawing from her unique perspective as a differently-abled student, Clemens will share her personal experiences and insights鈥攁s well as her involvement in initiatives aimed at promoting autism awareness and fostering inclusivity鈥攊n a lecture, 鈥淎utism and Success in the Classroom,鈥 on Tuesday, April 2 at the College.听
Clemens鈥 autism advocacy work includes creating video sensory guides on TikTok for those on the autism spectrum. Her remarkable journey recently captured the attention of Philadelphia鈥檚 6abc Action News, which featured her in November 2023.
The lecture is the latest in DCCC鈥檚 Dialogues for Diversity Series of discussions, which are free and open to the public. It is available both in-person and virtually. It will take place at 3 p.m. in the Small Auditorium in the Academic Building on the Marple Campus (910 South Media Line Road, Media, PA, 19063). Since 2020, 大发六合彩鈥檚 Center for Equity and Social Justice has hosted an ongoing series of Dialogues for Diversity discussions and events with rotating topics and formats.
